  • ¼ cup of butter or margarine
  • Grease and some flour for the pan

  • Preheat the oven to 325° Fahrenheit.
  • Take butter or margarine out of the refrigerator and place in room temperature. This will make it easier to blend the butter/margarine with the other ingredients later.

  • Place all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl and sift the dry ingredients together.

  • Place the butter/margarine in room temperature for a while to make it easier to handle.
  • Peel and mash banana until you have ½ cup of mashed banana.
  • Add white vinegar to the mashed banana.
  • Place the soft butter in a bowl and cream it with salt.
  • Sift confectioners sugar and measure up 3 ½ cup.
  • Add the mashed banana to the butter mix and stir in the confectioner’s sugar.
  • Beat the banana bread frosting until it is really fluffy.
